Glen Ellyn is fortunate and excited to have the The Cleve Carney Museum of Art and the McAninch Arts Center at the College of DuPage to host one of the largest private collections of original artwork by Frida Kahlo. The exhibition is the most comprehensive presentation of Kahlo’s work displayed in the Chicago area in over 40 years.
Join us Tuesday May, 11th as Diana Martinez gives an overview of this comprehensive presentation of the life and works of the artist Frida Kahlo which will feature 26 original pieces as well as an immersive historical exhibit that provides a framework of the life, circumstances and events that led to Kahlo becoming one of the most important painters of the 20th century and of our time.

Dawn Smith, Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Chamber, will talk about how Glen Ellyn Businesses are being involved and with the collaboration with the Village are being marketed to bring tourism into Glen Ellyn.
