LWVGE February Community Meeting:  "Electoral College History and Reform"
The League of Women Voters US has had a position to abolish the electoral college in favor of a one person - one vote system for more than 50 years. It is a non-partisan effort that will benefit all voters in our nation.

Join an enlightening presentation by speaker LWVIL Elizabeth J. Guscott-Mueller ("Joy"), JD, MDiv, to learn about the background on what the electoral college is, why it was implemented, how it operates, why it is failing our democracy now, the rationale for the league position for abolishment and what could replace it.
